I will be away from blogging for a while as I am going to visit my godson in Arizona...
Since it is so hot, I decided to protect my hair with a set of fresh twists using Darcy's Botanicals Tucuma Hair Butter and her organic palm fruit and cherry kernel butter... great products :)

I'll be back before you know it with more reviews, Fotds and videos :)
If you understand french, here's my latest video on natural hair and a few nourishing products that can be found in your kitchen

meda wo ase

Meda wo ase: thank you in Twi..

My friend just came back from Ghana and told me she had something for me....

You must be asking yourself what is it?
Is it food?
I wish it was...I would give anything to eat some kenkey....I digress...

Are you still guessing?

BLACK SOAP!!!!!
I am sooooooo grateful!
Buh-bye eczma!!!

I can hear some say, where can I buy some?

Sheabutter Cottage has your back

as well as Shea Radiance

What I love about both companies, they both get their black soap from Ghana while supporting fair-trade.
There are other companies out there that sell it but I haven't tried them yet...

How do I use my black soap?
- mostly when I have eczma or psoriasis breakouts
- to clarify my hair
- as a weekly shampoo by diluting a piece of black soap with a herbal infusion of lavender, horsetail, nettle, rosemary and sage, adding some honey for extra conditioning
- as a face soap

talking about face soap, do you remember this?

Oyin Black soap and honey gentle cleansing foam?

I wrote a review last summer raving about it and since then, it has been temporarily discontinued to replace the pump....

I miss it and hope it will be back soon.....

Do you love black soap?Where do you buy it? How do you use yours?

thank you for the love
